| How do I sign up?
|

of 2008 tournaments then send an email to the tournament
director. |
| Do I have to play in
all the tournaments? |
No. You can play in 1 or all 20 or
any number in between. |
| I don't have a
foursome. |
It happens all the time. Just sign up and
we will try to pair you up. It is a great way to meet fellow
golfers. |
| How to speed up play |
Play Ready
Golf |
| I don't have time. |
You don't have to stay until everyone
finishes. You can get there at your scheduled tee time and leave as
soon as you finish the round, turn in your scorecard and pay. Results are published on the web. |
| What about handicaps?
|
We request that you submit your scores
using our Handicap Web
Site. Our handicap chairman will calculate your handicap when
you have entered enough scores. In the interim we will accept
estimated handicaps for all tournaments except the Intersite
Qualifiers. |
| Who plays in the Club?
|
We are a diverse group of handicaps from 4 -
40, men, women and all ages. |
| Is it
expensive?
|
We are a non-profit club. The club charges
a MANDATORY $15 annual membership fee plus approximately $10 over what the golf
courses charge the club for each tournament. Those dollars go toward
the individual tournament prizes, outstanding golfer prize, a portion of the
first team's intersite fees, pink balls, deposits for tournaments, etc.... Club
Officers and tournament Directors
are volunteers. |
| How do I pay?
|
Cash Payment
is given to the tournament director at the conclusion of the
tournament round. |
| Are there prizes?
|
The stakes are low. First place winners
typically collect from $15-$25. We usually pay 1st and 2nd place in each
flight. There are Closest to the Pin contests, paying $5 each, on
most par 3s. Sometimes there are long putt and long drive contests
that pay $5 each. Almost always the prizes are paid in the form of
golf store gift certificates. We also present an annual
Outstanding
Golf Award based on points accrued during the
year. |
